Stem bark from an old tree Is pounded and the juice extracted from this is taken along with sugar.

2-3 table spoons of juice prepared from the 2-3 year old stem bark is given.

Dried leaves are burnt and the vagina is exposed to the fumes from the fifth day of menses and repeated daily for fifteen days before going to bed at night.

Paste made with the cotyledons of neem and flowers of Ricinus communis L., using neem leaf juice, is inserted into the vagina upto cervix to abort two to three months old pregnancy.

Tender leaves are chewed on empty stomach for about forty days.

Bee wax and pinch of red lead mixed in seed oil is applied to scalp for a fortnight.

Leaf paste mixed with turmeric is applied on the affected part.

A bit of 100 year old stem bark is chewed along with seed oil application on the patches. This arrests the further spread of the disease.

A spoonful of roasted flowers is given internally three times a day. Sugar is added.

1 . Dysentery

Gum and opium are mixed in 4:1 proportion and powdered. A pinch of this is given mixing in water for about four to five days. Gum witll the seeds of Papaver somniferum L., are powdered by adding equal amount of sugar and two to tlhee spoons of the powder is given three to four times a day.

Leaf paste of Azadirachta and Ficus religiosa L., is mixed in equal proportions and applied on the piles and bandaged. The inflammation subsides within two or three days.

One teaspoonful of leaf juice is given daily 2-3 times a day for about 1 Q. days after the onset of fever. The treatment is given as prophylactic measure also.
Tender plant parts with the fruits of Piper nigrum L. ara mixed In equal quantities and powdered. The powder is made into tablets and 2-3 are given 2 times a day to cure intermittent fever followed by chills.

1 . Rat - bite

Seed paste mixed with turmeric powder is applied on the bite. Sanll treatment is given for human bite also.
